We were going to have Mexican food for dinner tonight, so we decided to make margaritas. Our plans have since changed and we're having grilled chicken, instead. No need to make different drinks, though. These margaritas will be fantastic with any grilled food. They're a little sweet and a little sour, perfect for summertime get togethers! Alla vostra buona salute!
Italian Margaritas- 1 oz. amaretto
- 2 oz. sweet and sour mix
- 1/2 oz. tequila
- 1/2 oz. triple sec
Mix all ingredients together and pour over ice into a salt rimmed glass. This recipe yields one drink. Our margarita glasses are quite large so we had to double the recipe for each glass.
Enjoy responsibly, please. Happy Friday, everyone!

Awesome, as always. I don't usually drink hard liquor so I kinda live (or drink would be more appropriate) vicariously through your Friday night posts.
I like my margaritas blended, though, on the rare occasion I drink one. How would you blend it? Just toss into a blender and pulse away?
See, that's why I prefer Sol. Just pop the tab and chug :)
I really like your blog and I am going to follow it. I love this drink...
I'm with LB, when they are blended they don't seem to hit me as hard, I'm a light weight :) Great Drink, as always!!!
I was hoping the Friday drink would be margaritas. Yummy!!
